I have never loved a food the way that I love my Benchwarmers Egg Sandwich on an everything bagel with sausage, pimento cheese, and red pepper jelly. The bagel is perfectly chewy and covered in seasoning. The eggs are cooked to perfection (and I usually hate eggs). The pimento cheese and red pepper jelly are the perfect combo of spice and cool. The sausage is the best quality breakfast sausage of all time. I never change my order but I hear everything else is good too. The staff is wonderful and always read the notes which has helped me get a hefty scoop of pimento every time. They were out of sausage when I placed an order today but when I arrived they added it on for me!! So sweet. This place is truly life changing. I haven’t been the same since I tried it for the first time. Just moved a block away and had to set a line item in my budget for these bagels because otherwise it would be the only thing I eat for the rest of my life.

Pretty bummed as I bought a dozen bagels and 3 cream cheese tubs to take to a customer meeting on Tuesday (4/28). They let me know all the bagels were burnt and hard. It’s embarrassing as someone who is representing good customer experience and wanting to do something nice for them.. only to bring food that can’t even be consumed. They did say the cream cheese was lovely. But a waste of a dozen bagels and money. Unfortunately have to find a new spot.

I went here in a food hall in Raleigh for a field trip. The service is 10/10 and they’re really nice. The atmosphere is cool, I like sports a lot! And most importantly, the food! I got an egg sandwich with bacon and American cheese. It’s also not that expensive as it is in all the other food places in this food hall. Definitely recommend coming here!

This shop was so cute and the food was amazing!! Definitely a really fun atmosphere! We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of seating!! The gentleman who took our order was very kind and polite!! We had such a wonderful time and will be coming back!! The everything bagel was spot on! The bagels were super affordable!! Just a bale with yummy cream cheese was like $5 and then a sandwich was about $10 which was a great price!!

Four stars for customer service and atmosphere. Two stars for the bagels. I came in with an open mind, fully aware that as someone from New Jersey, I’m not going to find a true NJ/NY–style bagel in Raleigh. That’s fine—I’m not expecting perfection or nostalgia. What I do expect is a solid bagel, and unfortunately, that’s where this place misses the mark. The location inside the Food Hall is great and adds to the overall experience. The atmosphere is lively, clean, and enjoyable, and the employees were consistently friendly, helpful, and doing everything right on the service side. No complaints there at all. The bagels themselves, however, were barely average at best. Texture was off, flavor was lacking, and overall they didn’t stand out in any meaningful way. This wasn’t a “different style” of bagel—it was just not a good one. What makes this more disappointing is that there are several places throughout the Triangle that do get North Carolina’s version of bagels right. This location isn’t one of them. Great staff and a great setting can’t make up for a product that falls short.
